Governance
At TAFE, our commitment to sustainability is woven into the fabric of our governance. At the helm of our efforts is a dedicated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) committee, guided by our CEO, that shapes the strategic direction and ensures accountability across the organization. Anchoring this structure is our Sustainability Council—a dynamic group of top leaders who orchestrate our mission to achieve bold sustainability goals.
The Council, supported by a robust sustainability management and execution team, drives action across every level. By focusing on execution and innovation, we aim to meet our ambitious ESG targets while upholding the trust and confidence of our stakeholders. At every level, we are guided by the principles of integrity, fairness, and responsibility, ensuring that we adhere to the highest standards of corporate governance. By doing so, we strive to mitigate risks, enhance stakeholder trust, and drive meaningful, sustainable value.
Our governance model is designed to flow seamlessly through the organization, empowering employees with clear responsibilities and the support of our Performance Management Plan (PMP). Through this plan, we link success to sustainability by tying employees’ Key Result Areas (KRAs) to performance incentives, motivating them to actively contribute to environmental and green initiatives. These goals, aligned with our TE20 and Vision to Reality Plan (VTRP), aren’t just corporate aspirations—they are embedded into the very DNA of our workforce. By fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and impact, TAFE’s governance framework is built to power sustainable success for today and for generations to come.
